About Walk with Me 2016

Canada’s second national conference on culture change was another great success!  On March 10-11, 2016 in Edmonton, Alberta, we welcomed 350 delegates including older adults/residents, caregivers, educators, policy makers, students and researchers  from all over the country to learn with and from each other about how to enhance the journey of aging across the continuum of care.

About Walk with Me 2014

On March 24, 2014 in Toronto, Ontario, we welcomed over 400 delegates to the sold-out event, including older adults and residents, formal and informal caregivers, professionals, educators, policy-makers and researchers. In addition to 3 powerful keynote presentations, including a live research-based play on dementia, 35 concurrent sessions covered diverse topics from person-centred care to the built environment. We were also honoured to welcome Minister Deb Matthews (Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care) to address delegates on the morning of Day 2.
