Program Collaborators: Josie d'Avernas, RIA; Paul Stolee, University of Waterloo; Susan Brown, RIA
Working closely with the Schlegel Villages practice sites providing Long Term Care (LTC) and retirement living, the RIA has developed a framework to guide needs assessment for program development and evaluation. The framework incorporates factors considered essential for effective integration of knowledge into practice, and borrows from the PARIHS framework (Promoting Action on Research Implementation in Health Services) and KIM framework (Knowledge Integration Model).
