BIOGRAPHY

I am an adjunct professor at Conrad Grebel University College where I teach pastoral theology courses, including a course on Spirituality and Aging, in the Graduate Theological Studies program. For many years I have had a private psychotherapy practice. One of my specialty areas is eldercare.
My research has focused on various aspects of spirituality and spiritual maturity in senior adults. I am currently examining a core spiritual and psychological facet, hope, and how senior adults understand and experience hope particularly as they transition into a long-term care facility.
