BIOGRAPHY
Physical and mental wellbeing are key components for healthy aging. Dr. Elgamal is interested in studying the relation between physical and mental health of older adults. Of particular interest to her is to examine the role of physical activity in improving the different domains of cognition, and in slowing the progression of age associated mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer's disease.
