Program Manager, Agri-food for Healthy Aging (A-HA)

BIOGRAPHY

Before coming to the RIA to join the Agri-food for Healthy Aging (A-HA) program, Jessica worked as the Project Coordinator for the MaRS Landing project. Her primary role was to coordinate the many events and communication efforts made to demonstrate linkages between agriculture, food and health and showcase agri-food innovation successes in Ontario.

Prior to joining MaRS Landing, she completed a Masters of Science from the Department of Human Health and Nutritional Sciences (HHNS) at the University of Guelph, where she focused her studies on functional foods, natural health products and knowledge translation and transfer activities in the food and nutrition sectors.

Jessica continues to share information in her role with the A-HA program via facilitation of innovative food and nutrition research, development and delivery of dissemination activities to share A-HA research results, and facilitation of strategic partnerships with agri-food and health sector stakeholders.
