Alzheimers & Dementia

Since its inception in 1993, the Murray Alzheimer Research and Education Program (MAREP), a major division of the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging, has been working on finding more effective ways to put knowledge from sound research focused on social psychological aspects of dementia into action. To this end, the MAREP team, working in partnership with persons with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, family partners in care, other care partners, and researchers, has developed a number of educational tools and resources that are gaining attention from individuals and organizations around the world.
