LIVING the Dementia Journey (LDJ) is an award-winning, evidence-informed training program for those who support people living with dementia. Participants gain awareness and understanding that changes not only the way they view dementia, but the way they support people living with it.
In 2017, LDJ was named Product of the Year by the Ontario Long-Term Care Association. Argentum (a USA senior living leadership association) recognized LDJ as a “Breakthrough Innovation that opens new markets and offers new advantages”.
Workshops have been scheduled to offer LDJ in various locations. There is a limit of 25 people per session, so register early to secure your spot:
- Overview Workshop – September 25, 2018 – Hamilton
- In-Depth Workshop – October 11-12, 2018 – Toronto
- Overview Workshop – November 1, 2018 – Waterloo
The program was developed in partnership with Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging (RIA), the Murray Alzheimer Research and Education Program (MAREP), and Schlegel Villages.
