Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging Annual Research Day, 2007
Lyle S. Hallman Institute for Health Promotion, University of Waterloo

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION:

This one-day symposium highlighted the work that researchers affiliated with the Schlegel-UW Research Institute for Aging (RIA) had been doing in the RIA's partner long-term care facilities: The Village of Winston Park and Oakwood Retirement Communities, Inc. Community members, fellow researchers, as well as General Managers and Kinesiologists from the partner facilities were invited to attend. The morning session consisted of each of the Coordinators of the RIA component programs providing a description of their program and an example of the work that they have done as part of that program. The afternoon session consisted of several researchers presenting their work.
