Program Evaluation
A needs assessment, planning and evaluation framework guides the work of the RIA research teams, training program development and curriculum development. This framework was developed by Dr. Paul Stolee who coordinates this component of RIA. He has a strong background in quantitative research methods, health informatics, and program evaluation for health promotion and health care services, with a special focus on long-term care in the elderly populations. Paul is also a faculty member in the Department of Health Studies and Gerontology at the University of Waterloo, holds a position as Wes Graham Chair in Health Informatics and is cross-appointed to the School of Optometry.
