Professional Development Program
Conestoga College and RIA work together to develop and deliver professional education programs for registered and non-registered staff working in long-term and retirement care. Linking to the latest research, knowledge and skills of staff are continuously improved to optimize care. A full-time RIA Chair for Enhanced Seniors’ Care is jointly appointed by RIA and Conestoga College to move this important work forward. Josie d'Avernas coordinates this component.
